The paradox of our age.

We have bigger houses but smaller families;
more conveniences, but less time;
We have more degrees, but less sense;
more knowledge, but less judgement;
more experts, but more problems;
more medicines, but less healthiness;
We've been all the way to the moon and back,
but have trouble crossing the street to meet
the new neighbor.
We build more computers to hold more
information to produce more copies then ever,
but have less communication;
We have become long on quantity,
but short on quality.
These are times of fast foods
but slow digestion;
Tall men but short character;
Steep profits but shallow relationships.
It's a time when there is much in the window,
but nothing in the room.

Alice, don't be late.

Please, while the tea is still hot.
MY friend, Mackenzie, is one of the sweetest person in the world, if that makes sense. In other words, i love her. VERY much.
And in a result to that passion, i made her a tea party full of WonderfullyWonderland oriented decorations.

I undoubtedly had the least imaginative and boring costume, though i would like to add i supplied Alice, The Queen of Hearts AND the Mad Hatter with their costumes.
YES, i do happen to own that hat.
IF you haven't already sensed by now, I'm in love with Alice in wonderland. I love the costumes, the unpredictable adventures. How it wasn't really a dream, but she believes it is. It cause so much excitement when Tim Burton's preview came out in like November, i practically pissed myself in excitement.
Need for concern?
Nah.

The jam tarts were the best part, i gotta say. And yeah, the Hatter said
"YOU'RE LATE FOR TEA!" and of course threw a scone at her. Or maybe it was a spoon?

You make me morning.

HAI. MUSIC. Here's my play list, download if you dare. I mean off itunes. YEAH.
1. Everything is - Neutral Milk Hotel
2. Quelqu'un m'a dit - Carla Bruni
3. Gone in The morning - Newton Faulkner
4. You make my dreams - Hall and Oates
5. Bitter heart - Zee Avi
6. Cosmic Love - Florence and the Machine
That's all for now muggles.

I was reading the Nylon Article from their beauty issue this year about Zoe Saldana. Avatar was great in all but i didn't really make it to my favorite movies. But Later, (as in when i got the beauty issue, doy.) i read about her and she's actually reasonably kick ass. She curses like mad and has an opinion. She isn't taken down by anything, which is something that i really admire in an actress. Sometimes they get lost in the publicity and go nuts. Aka, Brittany Spears. Another actress i really love is Drew Barrymore. I didn't have any outstanding respect for her until 'Whip it'. she really kicked butt. and she has all the pod casts and recommends amazing music, which is good to hear. its weird sometimes when you see that celebrities also listen to music and shit, since they seem so distant from our world. God, i need to shut up. By the way, my 4 ft 10 inches (NO JOKES) friend can give me a piggy back.

Rum Rum Ba

OKEH.
Patience is a virtue that i don't have which sucks in the way that a blog needs patience. BUT, im waiting.

I will wait with my cynical and insane cat,

And i will wait with a rack of ideas.

hai guis.

Okeh, im going to choose to talk about my day. And music.
Have you guys perhaps listened to Supertramp lately. You will be blown away.
So today i will...
1.Wake up.
2.I'll call my friend mackenzie, hoping to stimulate comversation.
3.I'll take lots of polaroids.
4.I'll write a little, stop writing and then write again.
5.I'll watch a little spongebob and

Sound like a plan? I do believe so.

Thrifted dress, dressup box hat and polaroid that i found in the trainstation in Tokyo

NYLON.

I buy nylon. TONS AND TONS of nylon. As in the magazine, not the pantyhose.
Anyways, so its just an awesome magazine. Just AWESOME. in some respects i can't find ways to get over it.
Today i made this collage for Nylon and i am hoping to get it into the magazine.
OK, so i am going to openly admit that the main reason that i am writing a blog is my aspiration to be discovered by Nylon and featured. For like a paragraph of its bible like pages.

I guess its just i would feel such a sense of accomplishment if my writing was included in a project such as Nylon. I don't know, i sound crazy but it is my insane aspiration.
I refuse to believe that freedom and dreams are achieved through money. Yeah, having awesome clothing and incredible cameras would give me a chance, but i think that with some kick ass writing and a couple of inspiring photos, my dream will be fulfilled.

GO NYLON.
KICK THE INDUSTRIES ASS.

tough lurve.

earlier today i was thinking about Alice in wonderland. As a piece of literature it is as well structured as a melted wax candle, but in the readers eyes it is either totally non-sensical and ridonculess, or it is a awesome adventure through the looking glass. Its weird how people don't like things that they don't understand. i think that's where alot of crap goes wrong. especially why so many good ideas have been turned down. Its because they misunderstand it.

I want to make cupcakes, or cookies. And take lots of photos and garnish this blog with my photography.
I'm sorta into photography, but not like the hardcore type, just for fun y'know.

I don't know how long ago (actually i do. like 8 months ago ), but me and my buddy Mimi were alone at home. So we biked down really quickly on Ira to her local market and we bought a whole mess of plastic wrap. The thing is when you leave two very VERY imaginative children with artistic ambitions alone at home with plastic wrap, it ends up a leetle like this:

Favorite things, yes.

So. I've started too many blogs and realized that the awkward introduction via posting is never the best way to start. So, i'll snap right into it.
I'm going to make a list, of 10 of my favorite things.

1. The smell of crayons
2. Warm paper from the copier machine
3. Making cakes that make me feel like a really good chef.
4. Cheesy Musicals
5. Projects. LOVE, projects
6. Alice in Wonderland (any shape, form or.. yeah.)
7. Tea parties
8. Christmas eve
9. The smell of my cats neck
10.Good blogs
